A very warm welcome - thanks so much for coming to have a play with my creations. This particular site is dedicated to mapping apps. Hopefully, enabling calculation of the most efficient route to travel between multiple waypoints or visits. This application is aimed at being a simple replacement for the free tier speedyroute.com service which has now been defunct. Google Maps has a fantastic array of API based mapping tools available and these apps aim to provide access to them.
The application connects to a number of the google maps APIs to provide the places auto-complete and route calculation functionality. Use of the google maps API is not free of charge, but by restricting who uses the app keeps us within the free tier.
Anyone can sign-up - and if I know you and we have had a discussion, your registration will be approved and you will be able to gain access to the mapping system.
The prototype Alpha version of the application was based on a very primitive design with 12 very simple form fields designed to accept the waypoints. From version 0.8 Beta the dynamically updating interface enables 23 waypoints to be added which leverages fully the latest route optimization API.
GDPR Security Data We Collect. This application requires an approved email address to be entered during sign-up. Ie. an email address which has been opted in to our filter system. Other than that this app does not collect any personal data or sensitive data. If accessing the application from a company network - you must have permission to access this website.
Law Enforcement. If provided with a duly substantiated request for your data - for the purposes of law enforcement, we will co-operate fully.
With the exception of the purposes of law enforcement we will not even look at your data and will certainly never pass it on to 3rd parties.
We make absolutely no guarantees with regard to availability of this website or any system contained within. No warranty of any type is given or implied in relation to the service or perceived benefits associated with this website/service.
The action of signing up to the website/service legally binds you to indemnifying us for any losses - financial or otherwise, originating from or associated with your activity on this website. Unreasonable use of the system which causes an excessive number of API calls, deemed such as the free tier being exceeded, will not be tollerated and we reserve the right to pass on this cost in addition to a £9000 admin fee, which is to be paid in full within 7 days of the charge being notified.
